Today my grandpa turns 80.
What a wonderful number. 24 years with him has been more than just a blessing. Thank you kongkong.
My sister shares the same date too. She turns 28. Getting married soon? haha
I've been blessed with such an ordinary, but amazing family.
We had quite a party yesterday, with my grandpa close relatives and my sister's friends all gathered at our house. It felt like CNY.
But the sheer number of people who took the time and effort to come down was overwhelming for my grandpa, who teared as we sung the Happy Birthday song for him. He gave my dad and his brother a handshake, as he wiped tears away with his hankerchief. I gave him one big hug.
It feels nice to be loved and appreciated by people that you love too. Maybe that's what he felt.
As for my sister, dare i say it but she has entered the "window". The window of marriage. (:
We must take a family photo soon.
