i'm starting to think that in formula one, your success is dependent 80% on the car, 20% your driving skills. although within this 80%, 15% is about how the driver chooses to set up his car, which can really be very difficult with teams of engineers helping you along.
yet, it's remarkable to see Renault f1 take a major dip in performance/development from last season(s) to this. from front runners with fernando alonso, who's now with maclaren, to 2nd of the best of the rest, behind maclaren, ferrari and bmw.
and how ferrari just feels that much different without michael schumacher and ross brawn.

i, or rather, we all like to think that when something happens to us in a bad way, it's for a reason. some blessing in disguise thing. i'm starting to feel like my this injury was fated to happen really. like maybe this is how i repay my debts? i dont know. but it sure sucks.
i'm getting fat. fats oozing out of my tummy :/ :/ i must eat in alot of moderation.
on a well, lighter note, physio today was progressive to say the least. did more range exercises and now i can bend my injured knee at a max of 55 degrees. goal is 90 degress by the end of the week. but the giant swelling above my knee cap isnt helping. hope i can walk without crutches and without a limp by the end of this week. that's a realistic target.

i really do wonder whether i can make it back to the top after i've fully recovered. my mind says yes. but honestly now it's up to my body. my knee, to be specific. my menicus, new acl, mcl to be more specific. but my menicus is my biggest concern.
i still cant believe as a doctor he would say sth like i think 50.4s will be the fastest you ever run.
maybe it's motivation. but thinking of it sometimes makes my heart and ambitions sink.
