ASICS DS TRAINER 14 and Cyber Blade just in!
Took them for a spin during warm up today and i must say the DS TRAINER is the perfect shoe for me. Not too heavy, yet sufficient cushioning, plus a new propulsion trusstic technology which provides stability, and GEL insoles for increased comfort.
I feel I have a shoe that i can confidently take with me on the roads for 100km without pain.
Cyberblade is perfect for hurdles. It's cyber fitting straps locks your feet in place with a 3mm cushioned heel for hard landings. Goodbye back pains from hurdling. The spike plate is fairly aggressive which is a must for hurdles. You dont wanna be caught flat footed. Weight wise just a few hair stands heavier than the cyber stealth series.

IVP is just less than 14hours away. I'm not particularly excited, nor particularly worried either strangly.
Like okay I havent exactly been training hard, but i havet been slacking either. So i really do not know what to expect tomorrow. haha If i win, good for me. If i dont, well i wouldnt be too surprised either, considering my competitiors are national runners too.
As far as i can say, race preparation has been good. Been having staple diets and good rests and probably alittle too much time off the track but hey, it might just work it's way to a 48 tmr :D But that's a far hope but a hope nonetheless. Will be pleased with a 49. haha
Ok so race plan. Heats 2 hours before finals, hopefully everyone doesnt chiong in the heat! haha in lane 5 with only 2 on the outside so will probably keep in stagger as top 2 gets through. even pacing and proper warm down is essential for the finals 2 hrs later.
Finals itself. Well i would say i'll run my own race for timing but i think today will not be the case. It'd be running for position. haha
Nonetheless it's important to hit 200m at no later than 23.8s.
The rest, i'll leave it to my ASICS.
