I wouldnt say i ran well today as timings were pretty lousy! haha but i must say i had a fun filled 5th all comers. Partly is because we finally had a change in local competition venue, racing at the newly renovated Bishan Stadium, which will be used for AYG and YOG. SAA was doing sort of a trial run.
Anyhow, the ASPIRE sports school team from QATAR was competing with us today, which brought fresh competition to the field. However, WINGS athletics club still dominated the sprints, with 7 WAC runners of the 8 top finalist, 6 from M trackers.
200m was no different, as Kenneth, Elfi, Chengwei(SB/PB:21.68) and myself representing M trackers of Wings, all four timings in the top eight.
Anyway i just felt today was more of a fun race than anything else. Of course i would have wanted to run well, and i think i did not bad for my first 150m for 200m, afterwhich i faded.haha
Then there was this guy from Ireland who was running 3k SC who asked me to help him take pictures of him as he saw me with my super big lens i borrowed from KR (: agreed to help him n send his pictures over.
We then headed over to ECP for dinner :D Daryl, YaoPeng organised this small gathering, which we used to celebrate daryl's bday too. Asmah, Kenneth, Mark, Chengwei and i tucked into the usual ecp food stuff, with Gary joining us later on his new bicycle. haha Had good chat and laughs with everyone and daryl was telling me how he got rejected by this hot girl he met at camp blueblood. haha
